Michael Owen Boucher, 72 years old, died peacefully on Saturday, November 3, 2018 after a short illness. The son of the late Emory Owen and Doris Fuller Boucher, he was born January 30, 1946 in Saratoga, N.Y. His Brother Edward Boucher predeceased him in 2014. He is survived by his beloved wife of over 44 years, flo (Florence Bogdanski) boucher.

He was Uncle Mike to: Michelle Hill, Sherry Loftis, Renee and Rich Ferguson; Eddie, Christopher and Deanna Boucher, Eric and Jamie Boucher; Timothy Boucher, Erica and Keith Trahan; Kevin and Kimberlee Flike, Trevor and Nolan Flike; Thomas Boucher, and Alyssa and Mike Bouleris. He has nine Great Nieces; Nicole Hill; Liza Boucher, Kaelee, Alivia, and Julia Bouleris; Rylee Trahan; Emma Boucher; Lilah and Everly Flike; Eight Great Nephews: Adam Hill; Waylon and Cody Loftis; Matthew Boucher; Cole and Cormac Ferguson; and Eric Jr. and Dylan Boucher.
He is also survived by members of flo’s family: Franie Daniels, Doris and Richard Sharp, Rose and Elliott Volaski; Carolyn Bogdanski, Paul Bogdanski and Linda Comes, Teresa and Mike Chirichella, Marilyn and Eric Malstrom. He was “Bouch” to his nieces and nephews and their spouses: Lindsay and Sean Jacobson, Jeff and Sierra Volaski; Rich Sharp, Christopher Sharp, Jessica and Zach Oliva, Brittani Chirichella and DeMikel Shankle, Nicole Chirichella, Megan and Emily Malstom. His beloved Great Nieces, Emerson Volaski, Cora Jacobson; and Great Nephew, Hudson Volaski.
Mike leaves being many close and dear friends. He had a special affection for Tim Carney and Genie Treffiletti. “We are the creators and creatures of each other, causing and bearing each other’s burdens”.
Mike was a Vietnam-Era Army Veteran. Mike worked as a Union Painter with Gyer & Gilbert, Inc, in Albany, New York. He was employed in the Color Lab at General Electric Plastics, in Selkirk, New York.
He retired over six years ago from The Sherwin-Williams Company. Mike especially enjoyed canoeing, camping, biking, boating, hiking, and playing golf. He had a great deal of fun out on the course with his brothers-in-laws.
Mike totally enjoyed the company of his family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors. His best pleasures and memories were the many social gatherings of family and friends. He loved you all very much.

Viewing will be held Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 4:00-7:00pm with a prayer service at 6:30pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Interment will be at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, New York, 12871-9128, on December 1, 2018.
