Michael T. Mecka, 56, of Bayonne, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Beloved father of Michael Mecka & his wife Jessica and Dana Mecka. Cherished grandfather of Braelynn Mecka & Lucas Mecka.

Dear brother of Valory Bardinas & her husband Felix, Louis Mecka & his wife Melissa, Chester Mecka & his wife Heather, John Mecka & his wife Nicole, and Linda Grasselli & her husband Marti. Also survived by former longtime companion Patricia Sielski and her children Kaitlin & Justin, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and former wife Michele Mecka (nee Grant). He is predeceased by his parents Chester & Dorothy Mecka and his godson Michael.

Michael was a Union Carpenter employed by Local 6 and Silverman & Associates. Friends will be received at Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne, Friday 4-8. Funeral Saturday at 9AM from the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, Funeral Mass 10AM St. Andrew Church of Blessed Miriam Teresa Demjanovich Parish with cremation to follow at East Ridgelawn Crematory, Clifton.
