Michael Thomas Genchur, 85 of Murrysville passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019. He was born March 15, 1933 in Wall, PA, son of the late Thomas and Mary Genchur. In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, JoAnn Ruth Genchur in 2017; loving daughter, Michelle Lee Krantz in 2016, and his seven brothers and sisters; Thomas Genchur Jr., Irene Bacha, George Genchur, Viola McCall, Marion Berry, David Genchur and Edward Genchur.

He worked as a truck driver for Export Fuel. He also served our country in the United States Marine Corps. Michael is survived by a daughter, Melissa (Mark) Spagnol of Murrysville; three sons; Michael Genchur Jr. (Beth Burger) of Monroeville, Mark (Lori) Genchur of Harrisburg, and Anthony (Jessica) Genchur of Plum; a son-in-law, James Krantz of Maryland; eight grandchildren, Cole, Haley, Nicole, Alexis, Joseph, Shane, Skylar and Jack.

He is also survived by a sister, Valerie Heronemus of Lebanon, TN. A private Celebration of Life service will be held for close friends and family to share stories and celebrate Michael’s life. www.
