Michael Thomas “Mikey” George, age 65, of Lexington Park, MD, died peacefully in the morning hours of Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Anne Arundel Medical Center of Annapolis, MD with his loving family at his side. Mikey had been in a period of declining health, with his passing ultimately due to complications of pancreatic cancer. He was born December 8, 1953 in Cheverly, MD, and was a son of the late Arville Thomas and Patricia (Leech) George.

Survivors include his wife, Ann George; his children Jennifer Brown, Karen Klawitter and husband Craig, and Patricia Sutherland; his grandchildren Kyla Brown, Chad Brown, Mackenzie Klawitter, Trevor Payne, Rylan Payne, and Colby Payne; his sister Molly Stone-Bibb and husband Lee; brothers Mark George and wife Kelly, and Jason George and wife Stephanie; his nieces Taylor George, Autumn George, Gabrielle George; and his nephews: Earl Stone Jr., Anthony Stone, Kristian George, and Noah George. At Mikey’s request, he has been cremated. A complete obituary will be announced in the coming days.

A memorial service will be held at a time, date and location which has yet to be determined.
