Mike Chadwick of Millville, DE passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019, from congestive heart failure, in the presence of his loving daughter and sister. Mike was born September 2, 1950 in Hampton, Iowa to the late Harry & Delores Chadwick.

After graduating from University of Delaware, Mike went to work with the Boilermakers Union from which he retired. Mike enjoyed his grandchildren, the beach and having coffee with his dear friends at their morning coffee group – where many things where discussed. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Susan (Bond) Chadwick, and his brother, Randy J. Chadwick.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Meredith Chadwick and two grandsons – Gavin and Cameron, his sister, Linda Pfeiffer and brother-n-law Larry of Harrington, DE, an aunt, Carla Ziegler of Camden Wyoming, several cousins, nieces and nephews. A special Thank You to Seasons Hospice for their care and support during this difficult time. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, friends and family make a donation in Mike’s honor to Seasons Hospice, the American Heart Association or the Delaware SPCA.

Services were private, and a celebration of life will be held in the future. Condolences may be sent via www.
