OBITUARY Michael Wayne Hicks May 17, 1959 – September 12, 2018 Michael “Mike” Wayne Hicks entered peacefully into heaven on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his daughters; Paula Hicks and Nicole Hicks (Gregory, Sr.). A proud grandfather of Tristen, Terriana, Sophia, Gregory, Jr. and Rose.

He is survived by his exwife, Norma Hicks and his significant other, Connie Gainer. Son of the Marie Gilbert Hicks and Arvil Hicks, Sr. Brother of Harley Hicks, Sr. (Rhonda), Kim Domangue (Barry) and the late Arvil Hicks,Jr. He is also preceded in death by his furry companion, Butch.

He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. “Mike” was employed by Hilton Riverside in the maintenance department. He enjoyed his pets, working on his truck, watching wrestling, country music and mostly spending time with his family and friends.

Family, coworkers and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy. , Marrero, LA on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 2:00 PM with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will be private at a later date.
