Obituary for Michael Wayne Wright Michael Wayne Wright, age 61, of Glendale, Oregon passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. He was born May 23, 1957 in Grants Pass, Oregon to Billy and Beverly. He attended Grants Pass High School.

For most of his life, he was a logger and most recently a truck driver and night watchman at A&M transport of Glendale, Oregon. A kid at heart and an avid hobbyist, he enjoyed building model ships, submarines, and RC cars. He was the president of the Glendale Airsoft team; and member of the Wind Chasers Kite Club; and a part-time treasure hunter.

He loved to play chess, read, weave, and drive his little red pickup. He is survived by his wife of 29 years; Barbara Wright; his children David Wright of Bend, Oregon, Christina Christean of Redmond, Oregon, Michelle Shackelford of Canyonville, Oregon, Robert Roderick of Goose Creek, South Carolina and Herbie Sanders of Mt Pleasant, South Carolina; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his beloved pets, Moe, Charlie, Smokey and Fred. He was loved, and will be greatly missed by all.

A memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors in Grants Pass.
