Michael “Mike” Dean Bell, 63, of Milan, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018, at UnityPoint Health, Trinity Rock Island. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018, at the National Cemetery at the Rock Island Arsenal. Military honors will be conducted by the Moline American Legion Post 246.

Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans. Mike was born on February 12, 1955 in Ottumwa, IA, the son of Harold Bell and Jackie Stephens. Mike was a veteran, having proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

He enjoyed cooking and eating great food, and was quite the talker. He loved dogs, and tinkering, and fixing things. Survivors include his daughters, Kelly (Justin) Ramsey, Alexandria, VA, and Cori (Thomas) Power, Waverly, IA; grandchildren, Genevieve (9 years old) and Edwin (7 years old); 4 sisters, Pamela Wells, Terri Bell, Marissa Bell, and Jami Usher; one brother, Harold Bell; and his father, Harold Bell.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jackie Stephens.
