Mildred C. Strange, 83, of Jefferson City, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 12, 2019. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Jim Strange; daughter, Patsy Smith; son, Jimmy Strange; granddaughter, Carol Taylor; grandson, Tony Strange; parents, Walter and Ellen Chambers; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Taylor, David Strange, Debbie Strange, Rose Mary (Dennis), Johnson, Kathy (Michael) Rogers; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Dora Mott and Hazel Duncan; daughter-in-law, Savannah Strange; son-in-law, Curtis Smith; special nephews, Punk and Ray Chambers; and several other family members. Funeral service 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Fielden Chapel with Rev. Brian Rhodes and Rev.

Dennis Johnson officiating. Interment 11:00 AM Thursday in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM prior to the service at Fielden Funeral Home.
