She graduated Phillips High School and later worked for Blue Cross Blue Shields . Mildred was active in Garden Clubs.
Mildred and Jerry Thomson had three sons and all the family enjoyed living in the Huntsville area since 1959. Mildred was a kind, loving mother and caregiver to friends and family. She loved animals and birds which she fed in her yard constantly.
Mildred is survived by Jeff Thomson, wife Marcia Thomson, and daughter Jessica Thomson. Larry Thomson, wife Marilyn Thomson. William Thomson, wife Sheila, and sons Ian, Zachary and Andrew Thomson.
She is survived by her sister Linda Cox and husband Mike, nephew Michael Cox, wife Ellece and niece Wendy Cox. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Hampton Cove Funeral Home from 11:00 am to noon. A graveside service will follow in Hampton Cove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made in her memory to Whitesburg Baptist Church.
