Mildred Elias July 04, 1924 – January 12, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Mildred Elias, a lifelong Stratford resident and Raybestos brake lining employee, passed away January 12, 2019 at 94 years of age. Highly spirited and fun-loving, “Millie” loved to yodel and was a former Raybestos Brakette who still holds the highest batting average, . 546, and was inducted into the ASA Hall of Fame.

Predeceased by her father, Michael, mother, Helen, seven brothers: John, Rudy, Steven, Michael, Joseph, William, and Paul plus four sisters: Mary Elias, Veronica Benichak, Helen Maher and Rita Elias, Millie is survived by two sisters, Cecelia Elias and Ann Mercurio, and was the beloved aunt to over a dozen nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Thursday January 17th at 10 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church Stratford, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Stratford.
