Obituary for Mildred Oxley Burns Mildred Oxley Burns, 92 of Huntington, WV passed away, Saturday, September 1, 2018 in the Village of Riverview, Barboursville, WV. She was born July 26, 1926 in Covington, KY the daughter of the late, Delmar Oxley and Mary Cecil Smith Oxley Hubbard. She was a homemaker and was Church of Christ by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Hallie Burns; two sisters, Gladys Owens and Jean Bennett and two brothers, William and James Oxley. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, David and Deborah Burns of Huntington, WV; three grandchildren, Amanda Duffy, Ashley Burns, and Andrew Burns and five great grandchildren, Delaney, Rogan, Carrigan, Myah and Ryan and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, East Pea Ridge Rd.

Huntington with Pastor Kerry Bart officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. The family will receive friends from noon until service time on Tuesday at the mortuary.
