HOKE, Mildred Roberta Age 98, longtime resident of Trotwood, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018 at The Greenbriar Nursing Center. Mildred was born on Nov.

27, 1919 in Knoxville, TN to her parents, Lee Roy & Dica (Breeden) Maples. Along with her parents Mildred was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ray; son, Kenneth; brother, Lee Maples; and sisters, Elizabeth Ann Gregario, and Dot Gastineau. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Linda (Claude) Grissom; son, Paul Hoke; grandson,… Read More » David Tanis; daughter-in-law, Suzi Hoke; brothers, Robert and Bill Maples; sisters, Frances Davis, Mary Jo Brockett, and Patsy (Jim) Floyd; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mildred was a member of Crestview Baptist Church where she served as nursery coordinator and enjoyed singing in the choir. She enjoyed crafts, painting, and participating in community activities. She was even nominated “Mother of the Year” in Trotwood.

Visitation will be held from 12-1 PM on Friday, Nov. 30, 2018 with funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM at Rogers Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Trotwood, Ohio 45426. Pastor Lowell Spencer Officiating.

Interment will follow the service at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crestview Baptist Church, Eaton Baptist Temple, or Hospice of Dayton in memory of Mildred. www.
