Obituary for Mildred Tippett Metcalf Mildred T Metcalf, 94, of Greenville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 17, 2018 at her home. Born in Seneca, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Adger and Essie Kelley Tippett. Mrs. Metcalf was a retired Supervisor from Piedmont Industries and a member of Clearview Baptist Church where she was a member of the Mission Minded Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Metcalf is survived by her nieces and nephews; her step-children of the Metcalf family and her sister-in-law, Betty Stephens. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Henry Metcalf; 5 brothers, William, Lloyd, Leonard, Ernest and Robert Tippett and 1 sister, Charlene Leubecker. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday afternoon at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the mortuary prior to the service. The family will be at their respective homes. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Mildred Tippett Metcalf please visit our Sympathy Store.
