SPARKS, Mildred Anna, age 95, of Miamisburg, OH, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Mildred was born on October 10, 1922 in Hamilton, OH. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and retired after 33 years from General Motors in 1985.

Mildred enjoyed tending to her garden, hummingbirds, and caring for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, George D. Sparks; son, Roy W. Sparks; parents, Percy T. and Mary J. Rogers; sister and brother-in-law, Pauline (Ray) Wilson; brother and sister-in-law, William H. (Fern) Rogers; brother, Thomas Rogers and sister, Judy Williams. Mildred is survived by her children, Gloria J. Wenclewicz, Ray F. Sparks, Brenda G. Lowry, Carol (Charles Campbell) Sparks, Diane K. Sparks, and Neal W. Sparks; daughter-in-law, Barbara Sparks; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends from 10-11:30am on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH with a funeral service to follow at the funeral home beginning at 11:30am. Burial at Valley View Memorial Gardens.

A special thank you to the staff of Hospice of Dayton and Sycamore Glen Health Center for the wonderful care they gave to Mildred. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mildred to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420.
