SHOEMAKER, Minnie Louise, age 86, of Trotwood, OH, born January 22, 1933, went to eternal peace February 27, 2019. Minnie retired from GM/Truck & Bus and the Dayton International Airport. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Shoemaker; father, Albert Hurt; sister, Clara L. Alexander; brother, James Hurt. Minnie touched the lives of many. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Mildred Hurt; 28 nieces and nephews; 62 great nieces and nephews; 24 great-great nieces and nephews; 11 great-great-great nieces and nephews; a host of extended family and friends.

Homegoing celebration 12 noon Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Pleasant Green M. B. Church, 5301 Olive Rd. Visitation 10 am-12 pm. Family will receive friends 11 am-12 pm.

Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc. A sincere thank you to the staff at Friendship Village and Hospice of Dayton for an excellent service provided to our beloved Minnie L. Shoemaker.
