Obituary for Miriam C. Burbage Miriam C. Burbage, 88, of Summerville, widow of Laurie S. Burbage, Sr., passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at The Village at Summerville Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, Jume 4, 2018, from 11 to 1 o’clock at Old Fort Baptist Church, 10505 Dorchester Road, Summerville followed by her funeral at 1 o’clock at Old Fort Baptist Church. Entombment will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Mrs. Burbage was born November 26, 1929 in Walterboro, SC, daughter of the late Lloyd Crosby and Corrie Belle O’Quinn Crosby.

Mrs. Burbage was a Charter Member of Old Fort Baptist Church and was Sunday School Secretary at Old Fort for over 40 years. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter and one son: Delores K. Burbage of Summerville and Laurie S. Burbage, Jr. “Butch” (Connie) of Summerville; three grandchildren: Laurie Burbage Ousley (Jeremy) of Moncks Corner, Cody Wilson Burbage (Brandi) of Bonneau and Ashley Burbage Gaskins (Matt) of Pimlico; six great grandchildren: Thomas S. Burbage, Tyler S. Ousley, Emilia L. Burbage, Bear E. Gaskins, Brody A. Burbage and Otis Finn Gaskins and one sister and one brother: Helen C. Stokes of Charleston and Allen L. Crosby (Faye) of Walterboro and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Create Church, 117 Mini Farm Road, Bonneau, SC 29431 (Church plant by Cody & Brandi Burbage in Boise, ID) or The Young at Heart at Old Fort Baptist Church, 10505 Dorchester Road, Summerville, SC 29485.
