OBITUARY Mitzi (Hodes) Kalb March 30, 1930 – September 15, 2018 Marion “Mitzi” (Hodes) Kalb, age 88, of Marlboro, New Jersey passed away on Saturday September 15, 2018. “Mitzi” was born March 30, 1930 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, resided in Linden, NJ before moving to Marlboro, NJ 30 years ago. She was a Bookkeeper for Elizabeth Roofing for over 15 years, then owned Town and Country Hallmark Store in Cranford, NJ with her husband for several years and also held various bookkeeping positions before retiring in 2007.

“Mitzi” was a member of Congregation Anshe Chesed, Linden, NJ and its sisterhood. She was also a member of Hadassah of Linden, NJ. She spent summers at her summer home in Bradley Beach, NJ “Mitzi” is survived by; daughter Felicia (Jeffrey) Malkin-Freehold, NJ; and son Alan (Stacey) Kalb-Beachwood, NJ; grandchildren: Mia Malkin, Sawyer Malkin and Trevor Kalb.

“Mitzi” was preceded in death by her husband: Mark Kalb and her brother: Albert Hodes. Funeral Services for “Mitzi” will be held Monday, September 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 189 Gill Lane, Iselin, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, contributions in “Mitzi’s” memory may be made to Freehold Jewish Center, 59 Broad Street, Freehold, New Jersey 07728 US; and Temple Beth Am Shalom, 1235 Route #70, Lakewood, New Jersey 08701.
