OBITUARY Moises P. Frois September 25, 1940 – August 30, 2018 Moises P. Frois, 77, of Dartmouth, MA passed peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 30, 2018. He was the loving husband of the late Clelia (Cunha) Frois. He was born in Sao Miguel, Acores, the son of the late Francisco and Maria Jose (Pereira) Frois and the stepson of the late John Marshall.

A dedicated and adored father of Michael Frois and wife Stephanie (Francis), Natalie Frois, Moises P. Frois, Jr and wife Laurel Pinto. Preceded in death by his oldest daughter Margaret (Peggy) Frois (2008). A proud and doting grandfather of Susan McCarty, Nathaniel Frois, Meredith Frois and his ‘little helper’ Elizabeth Frois.

The former husband of Luisa (Furtado) Pavao. His brothers; John Froias, Antonio Froias, and the late Joseph Frois and their families. Moises will be remembered by his loving friend Carole Mahoney and family, dear friend Alfred Sands, a large extended family, and so many friends.

Moises worked as a Machine Operator at JC Rhodes-PCI for 25 years until his retirement in 1997. He also worked at the Fairhaven Shipyard as a security guard for several years. In his youth he played soccer as a goalie, participated on a bowling league and enjoyed watching soccer, baseball, and football.

He liked playing the Portuguese card game, Sueca with his brother-in-law Anibal, sister-in-law Gina and friends. Later in life he took pleasure in rooting for his grandchildren during their sporting events. He had a lifelong love affair with gardening, cooking and spent many summer weekends fishing with his children and grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 4-8pm at the Waring-Sullivan Home At Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Road, Dartmouth. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 10am at St. George Church, 12 Highland Avenue, Westport. Everyone is invited directly to the church.
