Moses Graham was born on August 4, 1929 in Darlington, South Carolina. He was the beloved son of the late Samuel G. and Mary Hall Graham. He received his education in the public schools in the area and graduated from Rosenwald High School with the class of 1950.

He later served in the United States Army receiving the Bronze Star Metal. Moses was employed at James River Corp. as a forklift operator for 37 years until retirement.

At an early age, he was converted, baptized and joined New Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Darlington County where he as a faithful member serving as a trustee. Those surviving to cherish his wonderful memories are his loving and devoted wife of 66 years, Elizabeth P. Graham; Two children, Moses Calvin (Genola) Graham of Danville, IL and Ruby G. (Alton) of Hampton, VA; Two grandchildren, Caltrina J. Graham, Alena D. Jones; One great-grandchildren Chaise Ferguson; One sister, Evelyn Yvonne Graham and one brother-in-law, Lester (Alice) Phillips; a special nephew reared in the house as a sibling, Matthew T. “Sunnyboy” Graham; a host of nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Matthew Graham and Felix Graham and a sister, Ethel Samuel.
