Obituary for Mrs, Eugenia Pazerunas Eugenia of Melrose Park passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 96 on November 14, 2018. She was born on October 18, 1922 in rural Silale, Lithuania. She met her late husband Joseph Pazerunas in Taurage, Lithuania.

Her family fled the Russian occupation on ox carts, traveled by night through dangerous forests into Germany and finally immigrated to the US in 1950. The family eventually settled in Melrose Park where Joseph built their home, raised three children, and finished out their lives. Eugenia, faithful wife of departed Joseph Pazerunas, cherished mother of Danguole (Anthony) Pototsky, late Arunas (Ellen) Pazerunas, and Remigijus (Sandy) Pazerunas; loving grandmother Joseph (Stefanie) Pazerunas, Lisa (Greg) Dicosola, Jillian (Mike) Pazerunas, Andrew (Jessica) Pazerunas, Thomas Pazerunas, Anthony Pototsky, Lindsey Pazerunas, Patrick Pazerunas; dearest great grandmother Olivia Pazerunas, Sam Pazerunas, Maia Dicosola, Nicolette Mazzocchi, Max Dicosola.
