Obituary for Mrs Helen Ruth Newby Helen R. Newby 4/3/1931-5/21/2018. Helen will be joining the love of her life Edward Troy Newby in Heaven today. Helen was predeceased by her mother, Mildred Hayes; father, Jess B. Estes; daughter, Gaye Lynn Keeler and granddaughter, Misty Keeler.
Helen is survived by her son, Clayton Newby of Talihina and his son, Devon Newby. Grandchildren Ryan and Kyle Keeler. Helen also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Helen enjoyed life and loved to travel, play cards and Dominos. Helen loved being around people and was usually the most entertaining personality in the group. She will be missed by all.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bradford Village and Belfair of Shawnee for their loving care for Helen for the past 3 years. A Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:00 am at Candlewood Chapel with burial to follow at the Blanchard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would ask for donations go to the Veteran Center Entertainment Fund in Talihina, OK.
