Obituary for Mrs Josefa Prokopowicz Josefa Prokopowicz, age 91, passed away Monday morning, September 10, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Gregor; loving mother of Maria (Robert) Schultz and Oksana (John) Gusella; cherished grandmother of Gregory (Christy Eriksen) Schultz, Melissa (George) Krieger, Marco (Meghan) Gusella, and Ariana; proud great-grandmother of Samuel, Sophia, Jackson, Tommy, Kataryna, Mila and Maxwell. She is survived by her brother and family in Ukraine.

Josefa will be remembered for her love of cooking and gardening, enjoyed tending to and sitting in her yard. She was a very giving person, and often put her family and friends before herself. She will be missed by her family both in the United States and in Ukraine.

Funeral Service Friday 10:30 a.m. at Muzyka & Son Funeral Home, 5776 W. Lawrence Ave. , Chicago. Visitation Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.with Panachyda (Wake Service) p.m. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery.
