She went home to meet her Lord and Savior and many friends and loved ones on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. She was preceded in death by husbands, Roscoe Gatlin of Wayne County, MS and Thomas Sample of Ft.

Worth; daughters, Marico Annette Gatlin and Donna Kay York of Ft. Worth; parents, Walter and Ida Mae Brewer; brother, Tellie Everett Brewer; sisters, Melba Manning of Richton, Bracie Irene Jones of Laurel and Thelma Jean Watts of Semmes, AL. She is survived by her granddaughter, Angelina Karma Hoffman and husband, Gentry Hoffman; great-grandson, Finneas Hoffman of Austin, TX; son-in-law, Jonathan Edwards York of Ft.

Worth, TX; brothers, Esra Shelton Brewer and Walter Rayborn Brewer of Richton; sisters, Winnie Mae Dykes of Hattiesburg, Patsye Ruth Wells of Richton, Dorothy Rae (Dottie) Crawford and husband Bill of Waxahachie, TX. Services will be at Mt. Oliver Funeral Home in Ft.

Worth on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. officiated by Rev. Aaron Ashlock. Final service will be at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Richton on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 2: p.m. with visitation 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019.

Interment will be in the Evergeen Cemetery at Shubuta, MS.
