OBITUARY Myrtle Ruth Meadors November 5, 1923 – October 17, 2018 Myrtle Ruth Meadors, 94, of Alma, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in Fort Smith. She was born November 5, 1923 in Spur, Texas to the late Robert and Edna English. She was retired from Dixie Cup, and was a member of Alma Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer “Buddy” Meadors; and daughter-in-law, Linda Meadors. She is survived by two sons, Nick Meadors, and Mike Meadors and wife Pat, all of Alma; four grandchildren, Steph (Doug), Brett (Mary Jo), Wade (Peter), and Angie; four great-grandchildren, Amber (Vickie), Logan (Jess), Kylie, and Wade; and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Bolton Cemetery in the Dean Springs Community, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Doug Davenport, Benny Brown, Bill Cagle, Jim Scott, Jessie Fox, Kenneth Marrs, Dustin Cole, and Amber Cole. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2018, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
