Myrtle’s Obituary Myrtle Seimer of Novi passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon March 5, 2019 at Angela Hospice, at age 90. She was born March 8, 1928 in Chicago to Mae Hartman and William Edwards. Beloved wife of the late John W. Seimer.

As a working woman, Myrtle was a social worker for the State of Michigan. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She was an avid reader and a friend to any library.

She loved to learn, with special interest in history, arts and culture. She believed in education for a better life. A faithful devoted Christian and a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Livonia.

Loving mother to John E. (Jackie), Paula (Marvin), Susan (Ken), Lynette, and the late Jeff. Grandmother to Max (Samantha), David (Nikki), Laura (Eric), Andrea (Chris), Joseph (Megan), Kyle, Ian, Caitlin, and six great grandchildren. The Seimer family will receive guests at the funeral home on Sunday, March 10th, from 5-9 pm.

A Funeral Service is scheduled for Monday morning, March 11th, at 11:00 am (in state at 10:00 am) at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church 17810 Farmington Rd. Livonia 48152. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park.
