Portland, Maine—Nancy Darby (nee Allan), 89 of Allenwood passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Cedars, Portland, ME. Born in Natick, MA, Nancy graduated from Medfield, MA, high school and Colby College with a degree in Psychology. Upon graduation she was hired as an Air Hostess, today known as flight attendant, with Capitol Airlines during the early days of commercial aviation and left service when she married her late husband, Ralph E. “Zeke” Darby.

They shared a love of golf and travel and spent many winters in Sydney, Australia after Zeke retired in 1985. Nancy is survived by her children Dana and his wife Lisa Darby, and Douglas. Also surviving are her three grandchildren Zachary, Sydney, and Samantha, and her sister Barbara.

Per her request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Special Olympics. Nancy will be interred at the Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ.
