Nancy Ann Nixon passed away peacefully on January 2, 2019 at a Fort Worth hospital. She was born on June 8, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to Winifred Allen Spain and Vernon Spain. She married Jack Nixon on November 21, 1964.

Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and dog, Buddy. Nancy was survived by her husband, Jack Nixon, sister, Elaine Spilos, sons, Jack and Thomas Nixon, grandchildren, Jordan and John Nixon, niece… Read More » and nephews, the Govier family, and other friends for over 50 years.

She was surpassed in death by her mother and father, Winifred Allen Spain and Vernon Spain. Family, friends, and others whose lives Nancy touched are invited to Galbraith-Pickard Funeral home at 913 N Elm St. Weatherford, Texas for visitation from 6-8 pm on January 7, 2019, and for funeral services which will be held on January 8, 2019, at 1 pm, to reminisce, grieve, chat, and support one another. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Parker County Animal Shelter.
