LEBANON, N.H. – Nancy Ann Beaupre, 79, of Barnstead, N.H. passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018 at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon after a long illness. She was the widow of Donald A. Beaupre and enjoyed nearly 40 years of marriage before his death in 2001.

She was born in Franklin, N.H. on January 22, 1939, to Wilfred and Josephine (Desjardins) Routhier. A graduate of Franklin High School, she became a Registered Nurse at Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and worked for Dr. Robert Morin in Franklin for several years. Later in life she worked for Equifax Insurance Company in Bedford, performing insurance exams.

She enjoyed singing and playing piano. She had an amazing voice, inspiring her family to sing, and sang throughout her life. While living the snowbird life, during Florida winters she was a cantor for several Catholic Churches in and around the North Fort Myers, Fla.

area and sang with several musical groups, performing in many shows. She was an accomplished and feared card player nicknamed “The Dragonfly” and “Auntie Moneybags,” and enjoyed playing with many family members. She is survived by her daughter Roslyn Cook and husband George, of Pittsford, Vt.

, son Doug Beaupre and wife Sarah, of San Diego, Calif. , daughter Sharon Huntley of Cavendish, Vt. , daughter Sue Beaupre of Wilton, N.H., granddaughter Emily Williams and husband Bobby, of Santa Barbara, Calif.

, granddaughter Madison Huntley of San Diego, Calif. , grandson Corbin Smith, wife Amanda and their daughter Olivia, of San Diego, Calif. , and sister Jean O’Shea of Dover, N.H. as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband Donald and grandson Spencer Huntley. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 15 at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin Street in Franklin, N.H. Calling hours are from 9 – 11 a.m. with the Memorial Service beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will take place immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery on Webster Lake Road in Franklin.
