Nancy M. Carr, 82, of Franklin, died at Concord Hospital on Dec. 26, 2018. She was born in Franklin on Jan.

11, 1936 the daughter of Phillip Milton Carr, Sr. and Dorothy (Trottier) Carr. Nancy was raised in Franklin and graduated from Franklin High School in 1953. She attended the Carmelite Monastery in Concord and later studied at St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing.

She continued her studies receiving a Bachelors and Master’s Degree. Nancy taught at Mass General Hospital and later at Mt. Auburn Hospital School of Nursing in Cambridge.

She later taught for 26 years at Northeastern University retiring in 1995. Nancy was a communicant of St. Paul Church. Family members include her brother, Phillip Milton Carr, Jr. of Campton, nieces and nephews including Carl Carr of Campton, Joyce Marie Henchy of FL, and Brian Carr of Leominster, MA.

She was predeceased by her parents and brothers Edmund L. Carr and James G. Carr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019 at 11:00 am in St. Paul Church, School St., Franklin.

A visitation will be held at the church beginning at 10:30. Spring burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in memory of Nancy may be made to St. Gabriel Parish, PO Box 490, Franklin, NH 03235.
