OBITUARY Nancy Chalmers Stevens (McLeod) March 29, 1943 – July 24, 2018 It is with tremendous sadness to tell her many friends and extended family that Nancy Chalmers Stevens (McLeod) passed away at the age of 75 surrounded by the loves of her life. Nancy was a native and life-long resident of Mobile. Daughter of Florence Stevens Adams and William Garrett Stevens, she is survived by her daughter, Michelle McKean (Shreve) of Dallas, Texas.

She was a graduate of Julius T. Wright School in Mobile and attended Sullins College in Bristol, Virginia and University of Alabama. Working in retail much of her life, her last employment at Gallery Shoe Boutique in Mobile was her favorite, as she absolutely adored her co-workers. Among the many things she loved about life, she enjoyed most horseback riding, vacationing in Lake Lure, North Carolina and her precious daughter.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Home of Grace for Women, 394 Alcock Road, Eight Mile, AL 36613.
