Obituary for Nancy Ellen Laslie Nancy Ellen Laslie, 84, of Vincennes, Indiana passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at Willow Manor Nursing Home in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born October 6, 1933 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of John and Lili (Kolhouse) Brown. She married James O. Laslie on March 5, 1949 and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2001.

Nancy was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and watching television and Westerns. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, James; one son, John J. Laslie; two daughters, Lisa Mae Laslie and Deborah Ann Laslie; two brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include two sons, James Cledus Laslie and wife, Rita, of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Bruce Wayne Laslie of Lawrenceville, Illinois; two daughters, Pat Volkman and husband, Vic, of St. Francisville, Illinois and Sherry Hamilton and husband, Warren, of Lawrenceville, Illinois; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside services will be Monday, July 30, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. There will be no public visitation.
