Nancy Eloise (Armstrong) Hatcher, 75, of Churchville, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at her home. She was born August 31, 1942, in Moyers, W.Va. , a daughter of the late Lynn Stover and Martha Elizabeth Armstrong.

She was married to William Floyd “Buck” Hatcher Jr., who preceded her in death in 1973. Nancy was a past member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church. She had retired from Western State Hospital where she was a C.N.A.

She enjoyed spending her time doing “Seek & Find” word searches and was an avid collector of hummingbirds, frogs and antique clocks. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Bryan Douglas Hatcher; a sister, Jean Eckard; and two brothers, Dick and Gary Armstrong.

She was survived by her long-time companion, Raymond Roberts, who lost his battle to cancer at Augusta Health Care, later the same day. Survivors include her son, Scotty D. Hatcher and companion, Susan Moore of Churchville; a grandson, Aaron Hatcher of Churchville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bud and Doris Armstrong and Jim and Patsy Armstrong, all of McDowell; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as a large circle of friends and neighbors. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Obaugh Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Saint Paul’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends, 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the funeral home.
