Nancy Jean Olson, 78, of Lutsen, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in Duluth, MN. She was born February 4, 1941 to Donald and Lorraine (Haroldson) Larson in Winona, MN. Nancy graduated from Hopkins High School and attended St. Olaf College.

She retired from A. H. Bennett Company after 24 years. Nancy married Harlan C. Olson on November 15, 1985. They lived in Minneapolis until they purchased land in Lutsen, MN.

They would visit every weekend until they built their home by themselves in 1991. In her free time, Nancy enjoyed fishing, spending time outdoors, and at the lake. She loved reading, doing puzzles and playing cribbage – Nancy and Harlan would play daily.

Nancy dearly loved her two grandsons Christopher and Cody and her dog Dixie. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents. Husband Harlan passed in 2011.

Nancy is survived by her children, Denise (Eric) Silnes, Robert (Kim) Leck, Steven Leck, brother Kim (Shirley) Larson, Grandsons Christopher (Paige) Leck and Cody Leck. She was loved very much and adored by many. In accordance with Nancy’s wishes, no service will be held.
