Nancy’s Obituary Nancy Kay Ligon (formerly DiNitto-Arnold), 65, fell into the arms of the angels Saturday, January 12, 2019. Nancy was born on October 11, 1953 in St. Louis, MO to Robert L. and Gladys C (Davidson) Ligon. She graduated high school in Hazelwood, MO in 1972 and attended Pensacola State College.

She retired as a Flight Attendant with Eastern Airlines and as a District Account Manager with Avon. Nancy was an active and faithful member of St. Mark United Methodist Church where she sang in the Chancel Choir, served with the Stephen Ministry, participated in the Centering Prayer Group, served on various boards of the church, a Lay Leader and was a member of the United Methodist Women. Nancy enjoyed singing with the Senior Follies and the Pensacola Choral Group.

She enjoyed traveling to new places, her dogs, joyful Yoga, acting, singing with others and making people happy. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-love, Giovanni “Gio” and Marie DiNitto and will be there in love and spirit from above for the arrival of Nancy’s first grandchild in April; sister, Pat Ligon; nieces, Jessie, Kate and Patton; sister-in-love, Judy Ligon; nieces, Jennifer, Laura and Sue; nephews, Stephan, Douglas and Glen; great nephew, Kevin. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, January 19, 2019 at St. Mark United Methodist Church with Rev.

David Morris officiating. Nancy was blessed to have many friends that assisted with her care, Sandra Grandade, Sue Loveless, Jan Harnish, Phoebe Mannio, Dr.’s Bill and Mary Blanchard as well as many others.
