Nancy Louise Goss, age 79, of Walker, MN passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 20, 2019. Nancy was born on October 1, 1939 to Wallace and Lomena (Clement) Goss in Cass Lake, MN. At a young age, Nancy contracted spinal meningitis.

Complications and a high fever left Nancy with life long disabilities. She lived in Guthrie, MN on the family farm known as Gossville. She grew up surrounded by her five brothers and sisters as well extended family.

In 1979 she moved to Johnson’s Long Lake Group Home where she lived the rest of her adult life where she was loved by everyone there. They took her on fun trips and made many lasting memories with her. She overcame many obstacles in her life including meningitis, epilepsy and stomach cancer.

Doctors said she wouldn’t live through childhood, yet she outlived all five of her brothers and sisters. She always enjoyed puzzles, coloring, music, looking at photos and loved the colors pink. Nancy always blessed everyone around her with nicknames and will be remembered for her infectious laugh.

Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her niece Judy Isaacson, great-nieces, Shannon Giffen and Melissa Isaacson, sister-in-law, Barb Goss, nieces, Patty and Annie as well as numerous other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She will also be remembered by her DAC and Johnson’s Long Lake Group Home friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings: Clem, Jeanette, John, Richard and Charlie; two nephews, one niece, and special friends Wayne, Gloria and Cheryl.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M on Friday, May 24, 2019 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cass Lake with Father Jerry Weiss officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery at a later date.
