OBITUARY Nancy Lou (Johnson) Hawkins February 1, 1939 – November 16, 2018 Trinity- Nancy Lou Johnson Hawkins, 79, passed away on Friday November 16, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was born February 1, 1939 in High Point, North Carolina to the late Raymond R. Johnson and Chrissie E. Mendenhall Johnson. Nancy loved cats, sewing, quilting, chocolate and always said, “Kill ’em with kindness”.

But most of all, Nancy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by husband, Robert B. Hawkins; daughter, Karen G. White (David); granddaughters, Adrienne Hewitt (Emory) and Mandy Furniss-Roe (Brian); seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Margie Singleton. A graveside service will occur Monday, November 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Prospect United Methodist Church, 5553 Prospect St, Archdale, NC.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sechrest Funeral Service of Archdale, 120 Trindale Road, Archdale, NC. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www. SechrestFunerals.net for the Hawkins family.
