HARROP, Nancy P. (Lonergan), 94, of West Warwick, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019 at West View Nursing Center, West Warwick. She was the wife of the late John F. “Jack” Harrop. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Annie (Conway) Lonergan.

She was a resident of West Warwick for most of her life. Nancy was a private health care aide for many years before retiring at the age of 85. She was an avid reader, loved gardening and animals.

She was a former member of the West Warwick American Legion Post 2 Women’s Auxiliary. She is survived by a daughter, Maureen F. Harrop of West Warwick; a son, Michael P. Harrop of Coventry and many relatives. She was the sister of the late John F. Lonergan, Joseph F. Lonergan and Mary Kessler.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a committal service on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery Columbarium Committal Center, 301 South County Trail, Exeter. Please gather at the Administration Building parking lot as you enter the cemetery on the right at 1:15 p.m. and we will be escorted to the Columbarium Center. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
