Natalee Blanche (Ralls) Story, 94, of Winfield, Kansas passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 at Cumbernauld Village in Winfield. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, May 4 at Grace Episcopal Church of Winfield. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Winfield.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M. on Friday, May 3 at the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield. Memorial contributions in Natalee’s name may be made to the Grace Episcopal Church Endowment Fund and the Udall Historical Society, donations may be left in care of the funeral home. Natalee was born in Winfield, Kansas on June 29, 1924, the daughter of Clayton T. Ralls M.D. and Eunice Blanche (Carter) Ralls.

She graduated from Winfield High School in 1942 and attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri graduating with an Associate degree in Physical Education. Natalee was united in marriage to John Boyd Story on August 1, 1945 in Winfield. Natalee’s faith was paramount in her life.

She grew up in the Christian Church and was a member of Grace Episcopal Church for many years, where she also served on the altar guild and vestry. Natalee and John enjoyed farming together in the Winfield and Udall area. She also worked as a switchboard operator for William Newton Hospital.

Natalee was very involved in the community and loved to volunteer. She was a member of the Udall Historical Society, the Red Hats, the Kansas and Cowley County CattleWomen, and a lifetime member of the Kansas Livestock Association. She also volunteered with the Udall and Floral 4-H Clubs, the American Red Cross and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include: daughter Lura Unger of Winfield; daughter Barbara Story of Winfield; daughter Connie Miller (Carl) of Alma, KS; and son Clayton Story of Udall(special friend Samantha Hendricks of Ketchum, Oklahoma); grandchildren: Jason Unger, Lynette Unger, Alex Miller and Steven Miller; great-grandchildren: Owen, Joanna, Cade, Nathan and Luke. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings: Amanda Stutzman, Carter Ralls, and Virginia Foster.
