Natalie A. Langenfeld (nee Weitzel), 37, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 17, 2018. She was born January 10, 1981 in Akron to Roger and Rebecca Weitzel. She graduated from Copley High School in 2000 and worked for United Disability Services in south Akron.

During her free time Natalie loved kayaking, boating and painting. Natalie had a God given gift for compassion and was a devoted mother, who enjoyed being with her family and friends. Natalie was preceded in death by her mother, Becky Weitzel; and grandmother, Alice Conner.

She is survived by her son, Evan C. Barkoukis; fiancé, Paul Barkoukis; father, Roger (Gina) Weitzel; brothers, Jeff (Mandy) Weitzel, Matt (Renee) Weitzel, and Todd (Leeann) Wasil; sister, Wendy Wasil (Lenny Lott); Paul’s parents, Chris (Patty) Barkoukis and Sharon (Jim) Vyskocil; Paul’s sister, Cindy (Brad) Hina; many nieces and nephews; and devoted friends and neighbors. Friends may call at Community Church of Portage Lakes, 3260 Cormany Rd. , Akron on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., Dr. Michael Rybka officiating.

Private interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the church in Natalie’s memory for Evan’s future education.
