Obituary for Neil S. Hoag Neil S. Hoag, 77 of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018. He was born in Eaton Rapids, Michigan to the late Gerald & Neta Hoag and had lived in the Michigan area for more than 40 years and then moved to South Florida for more than 20 years. He was of the Methodist faith and was a United States Army Veteran.

He was employed as a Meat Cutter for most of his life and loved singing, especially in the choir. He enjoyed painting, fishing and bowling and was always putting others needs before his own. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather that will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Karen Jenkins Hoag and two brothers, Victor Hoag & Vern Hoag. Survivors include his children, Karen & Mark Gratton, David Hoag, Steven & Carolina Hoag and Neil & Marz Hoag; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and numerous extended family & friends. Services and burial will be private and there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
