Neil Silvio, of Smithfield and formerly of Providence, passed away at his home in Smithfield after an illness. He was born in Providence, a son of the late Aniello and Helen (Pelopida) Silvio). Neil was a self made business entrepreneur and ooperated several businesses in the Prodidence area before retiring.

He had served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War He leaves a sister, Edie Silvio of Warwick and a niece Deana Turgeon. He was the brother of the late Joyce Mirra. A Gathering of Remembrance will be held at a date & time to be announced.
