Nell Ashley Rizer of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019. She was 94. A native of Scotland, Georgia, born May 12, 1924 to William and Mabel Cherry Ashley, Nell has been a lifelong resident of Winter Haven.

She retired from General Telephone (Verizon) as a Business Service Rep. , and she was a member of the Inman Park Baptist Church. Nell was preceded in death by her husband Emmett E. Rizer.

She is survived by her daughters: Ginger Rizer Cooper (Ralph) of Corpus Christi, TX, and Judi Rizer DeVane (Rick) of Lakeland; and a sister Virginia Teller of Casper, WY, Nell also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM Tuesday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM.
