Nelson’s Obituary Nelson Monroe Green, Jr., 55, of Huntington, WV passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 12, 1963 to his late parents, Nelson Monroe Green, Sr. and Kathleen (Varney) Green. Nelson worked for many years as a blackjack dealer and a bouncer for several local bars, including Cheating Hearts, Bob & Faye’s 8th Street Bar & Grill, Charlie’s Place and also, his own bar, Club Regent (Leo’s), where he oversaw day to day operations.

Nelson also told folks, “I was a public accountant for most of Huntington”. He leaves behind to cherish his memory; his loving wife of 33 ½ years, Sue Green; daughter, Denena Green (Jennifer) and step-son, Randy Morrison (Joni). Also, surviving are his two granddaughters, Kimberly and Aniyah; sisters, Delena and Tammy Green; two mother in-laws, Momma Kit Kat and Kay McCloud and a host of other family members and friends.
