Obituary for Nerrissie A. Benjamin Nerrissie A. (Jones) Benjamin, age 77, of Alliance passed away at 3:25 p.m., Friday, May 12, 2017, at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born May 6, 1940, in Henderson, Tennessee to Kenneth Jones and Adlene Howell. A former hostess at the Alliance Country Club, she also spent many years working at Green Farms and Wal Mart.

Ann loved traveling, especially to Las Vegas and to Mountaineer, fishing at the lake, bowling and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her significant other, Gary Robinson of Alliance; sons, Richard Elliott of Oak Grove, KY and Loren ‘Sam’ Kyser of Hillsdale, MI; step children, William E. (Debbie) Benjamin, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ, Robert Benjamin of Albuquerque, NM, Janet Benjamin of Beloit and Marsha Morgan of Portland, OR. ; step daughter-in-law, Marian Benjamin; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and 4 siblings.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step mother, Lavon Jones; husband, William Benjamin, Sr.; and step son, Herbert Benjamin. Services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017, at Southside Church of God, 1520 S. Sawburg Ave. Alliance, OH 44601, with Rev.

Dave Storlie officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Alliance Hospice, 2461 W. State St., Alliance, OH 44601 or to Alliance Visiting Nurse Assoc.
