Newton Cadet, 46, of Brockton, passed away on December 29, 2018. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, he was the beloved son of Jacqueline Constant of Brockton and the late Jean Cadet. Newton earned a bachelor’s degree from Johnson & Wales University and was a talented chef.

He was sociable and funny, making friends wherever he went and was the life of the party. He enjoyed traveling extensively. Newton was the father of Tyler Cadet of New York; brother of the late Wilkenson Cadet; nephew of Bernadette Pierre-Louis, Lutha Pierre-Louis, Marie-Rose Pierre-Louis, Jocelyne Constant, Ketly Constant, Dayouse Constant, Jacqueline Senat, Marlene Senat, Madia Senat, and the late Immacula Pierre; and a dear cousin and friend of many.

All are welcome to calling hours Monday, January 7th from 6-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Tuesday, January 8th at 9:30 a.m., funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Christ the King Parish, Brockton and entombment at St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
