Newton James Hippolyte Sr. passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the age of 74. He is preceded in death by his father, William JnLouis; his mother, Virginia Hippolyte; and his brother, Mark JnLouis. Newton is survived by his wife of 46 years, Monique Hippolyte; his children, Valencia, Vanessa(Christian), Vickie, Newton Jr., and Julius; his five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nine siblings, Patrick, James, Rose, Williamson, Conrad, Andrew, Titus, Germaine, Martha and many nieces and nephews.

Newton worked at Northrop Grumman as a painter and sandblaster for 29 years until retirement. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Visitation on Saturday, June 8, 2019 beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy. , Harvey, LA.
