Dear grandpa of Brody and Ramsey Bontomasi. Dear brother of Joseph (Carol) Bontomasi, and brother in law of Dennis and the late Sheryl Powell. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and June Bontomasi.

Nicholas was a Past Grand Knight of Leo XIII, Knight of Columbus Council 3042 and a member of the Richard Cardinal Cushing Assembly 0484. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and was an avid card player. Nicholas also was a former umpire for many organizations which included, CYO, East Detroit Tiger Cats, Harper Woods, Clinton Valley and Slow Pitch at Farwell Field.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 2:00-8:00pm at the Chas. Verheyden-Schultz Chapel, 21705 Gratiot, Eastpointe, Michigan. Funeral mass Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10:00am with an instate time 9:30am at St. Veronica Catholic Church, 21440 Universal, Eastpointe, MI.
