Schiro 93, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019. Born in Lodi to the late Salvatore and Mary Schiro. Nicholas was a U.S. Navy Sea Bee veteran of W.W.II serving from 1943-1946 and was a life member of the V.F.W. Memorial Post 4591 in Hasbrouck Heights.

Before retiring, he was a truck driver for J.P. Patti Roofing Company in Saddle Brook. He was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church where he served as an usher, a former member of the Leisure Club and a former manager for the Little League all in Hasbrouck Heights. Beloved husband of Rose Marie (nee Reser) Schiro.

Devoted father of Kathy Kraus and Nicholas S. Schiro, Jr. and his wife Joanna. Dear brother of the late Russell Schiro. Loving grandfather of Caitlin and Jenn Schiro.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Tuesday, March 5th at 9 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church at 10 AM.

Interment following at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation Monday, March 4th from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
