Obituary of Nicholas Francica Jr. Francica, Nicholas Jr age 88 On February 4, 2019, after a brief illness. Formerly of Warrington, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA June 2, 1930 to the late Nicola and Josephine (Palma) Francica He Graduated from Simon Gratz High School, Philadelphia, PA, and prior to enlistment in the Navy, he marched with The Mummers Liberty Clowns Comic Division and The Quaker City Sting Band.

He served in the US Navy from 1951 – 1955 on the USS Hornet CVA 12, and participated in the 1954 World Tour. He was also a member of Friendship-Williams Lodge #400 F. and A.M., Jenkintown, PA. He spent the majority of his adult life as a salesperson for several steamship line companies, prior to co-founding Philadelphia Export Consolidators.

He was also known for sharing his sight gags and other brain teasers. He is survived by Loving wife of 57 years Rose E. (Rugel) of Quakertown PA, Nicholas III (Amy) of Delaware, Anne Marie, of Quakertown, Donna Buerger (Peter) of Baltimore MD. Grandchildren Stephen, Rachel, Michael and Josef.

Friends may call on Saturday, February 9 TH, 9:30 A.M. at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel and Mausoleum, 333 County Line Rd Feasterville PA 19053 Memorial Service 11:00 A.M. Entombment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations made in his memory to the USS Hornet Museum, Donations Office, P.O. Box 460 Alameda Ca.
